RULES AND REGULATIONS
Oopsadaisy
Television Productions Inc. is
seeking daring candidates for an exciting new show. Have you
always wanted to go on an Extreme Adventure, but never
had the guts to Take The Plunge? Now you can. We are offering an all-expenses-paid
Extreme Adventure to the right people.
Participants will be embarking on wild, breathtaking adventures. Whether
trekking through the rainforests of Rwanda to come face to face with a silverback
gorilla or climbing limestone cliffs in the Italian Dolomites, Oopsadaisy
Television Productions Inc. will take you there. The benefit
of being invited on our show is that your hard work will not go unnoticed.
Although your tasks during the day might be considered by some to be extremely
strenuous and daunting, your accommodations will make your trip very enjoyable.
You will be able to relax, eat well and rest enough to enjoy the following
day's breathtaking scenery and wild adventures.
WHO
CAN APPLY (Summary):
A.
The applicant must be over 30 years of age.
B. The applicant must be available for international travel
any time as agreed, once selected.
C. The applicant must possess a valid passport.
D. The applicant must NOT possess a criminal record which would hinder world
travel.
E. The applicant must be willing to be filmed throughout the whole trip
and under all circumstances.
F. The applicant will agree to make him or herself available for filming
prior to and upon his or her return home. The dates, if any, will be determined
by the
Producer and arranged with reasonable notice.
1.
ENTRY PROCEDURES:
1.1 The procedures for entry and
participation in the competition are subject to the competition
rules.
1.2 Individuals eligible to participate in the competition may seek to
participate in the episode by submitting a completed application form available
online
at www.adventuretraveltv.com.
Applications must be received by the Producer by posted deadlines. All
application forms must
be completed and fully signed. A VHS tape must be submitted with required
documentation. The VHS tape must not exceed 5 minutes. Within the five
minutes, applicants must
address who they are, what they do for a living and why the Producer should
select them for an Extreme Adventure. Click Here to

1.3 Individuals who have submitted a completed application form, accompanied
by
a VHS résumé prior to the deadline, may be invited
to attend a preliminary interview by the Producer.
1.4 The competition is designed to showcase candidates (on an Extreme
Adventure) who have roughly the same level of experience/aspirations/goals
and is open to individuals 30 years of age or older. Competitors must
submit a photocopy
of
two
pieces of valid I.D. (such as driver's license, passport and birth certificate).
Competitors cannot have a criminal record or pending criminal charges
that may interfere with their ability to travel freely around the world.
1.5 No competitor will be permitted to participate without submitting to
the Producer a validly signed Competitor's release form.
2.
GENERAL RULES:
2.1 The Producer reserves the right
to change the structure of the Extreme Adventure as it sees
fit, including, without
limitation, adding or deleting
auditions/competitors
and/or requesting additional video recorded performances from the applicants
and/or
changing the anticipated recording schedule.
2.2 Participants may be required to keep any and all information regarding
the competition completely confidential and may be prohibited from
conducting any
interview or providing any comment or information to the public and
the media without the consent of the Producer, including, without limitation,
information
regarding the outcome of the Extreme Adventure, the performances of
any
co-participant, including their own performance and any comments of
the Producer, at the
sole discretion of the Producer.
2.3 The Producer will have no liability to a Participant who is unable
to attend or take part in any part of the Extreme Adventure for whatever
reason.
2.4 The Producer reserves the right to amend the Competition Rules
or terminate the competition at any time without liability to any participant.
The Producer
further reserves the right to replace, at its discretion, any Participant
who for any reason fails or is disqualified from or unable to participate
in any
aspect
of the program, with another replacement participant.
2.5 All Participants agree that the Producer and its agents can use,
exploit and distribute, in any media whatsoever, including, without
limitation, the Internet, now known or hereafter created, worldwide
in perpetuity,
the Participant's
audition(s),
performances and appearances, the Participant's comments and the
Participant's name, likeness, image or voice without any further
consent or compensation
of any nature or kind. Further, all individuals who attend a "secondary audition" who
do not become Participants (including family, friends or any other individual
accompanying an applicant) ("Other Individuals") agree
that the Producer and its agents can use, exploit and distribute
in any media
whatsoever, including,
without limitation, the Internet, now known or hereafter created,
worldwide in perpetuity, the individual's comments and name, likeness,
image or
voice without
any further consent or compensation of any nature or kind. All Applicants
and Other Individuals agree to waive any and all copyright interest,
of any nature
or kind, they may have in their comments, audition(s) performances
and appearances, including, without limitation, any moral rights
in the foregoing.
2. 6 In the event of any dispute concerning the operation of any element
of the episode or series or any element of the rules, the decision
of the Producer will
be final.
2. 7 These Competition Rules are additional to and do not supersede
any and all Release forms signed by the Applicant and in the event
of any conflict
between
any Release form and these Participant rules, the Release form will
prevail.
In order to be considered for the show, the applicant must meet all
guidelines outlined in section 1. If you believe you meet these guidelines,
we invite
you to submit a five-minute résumé on a VHS
video tape. Whether you apply individually or with a partner, both
applicants must cover the following individually: how old you are,
what you do for
a living, what sorts
of hobbies you have and most important, why we should select you
as an individual and/or, as a pair, for an Extreme Adventure. To
be considered 'a pair' applicants must submit their individual video
resumes on the same VHS tape.
